I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Sex Offender treatment provider with 20 years of experience providing individual care coordination, psychotherapy services, and outpatient care for at risk populations such as individual with substance abuse, disabilities, and mental illness diagnoses. I am committed to assist individuals in healing from childhood and adulthood trauma.
My goal is to provide individuals with a healthier perspective about life, the resources and support to make decisions, and tools to enact desired behavioral changes. I work with children, adolescents, adults, families and groups who have challenges managing symptoms of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), anxiety, anger management, Bipolar Disorder, depression, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Individuals are assisted in developing treatment plans to develop coping and social skills to enhance their quality of life.
My counseling style is theoretically grounded in a client-centered approach. At the core of this approach to counseling is my belief that my clients are always seeking to move toward their own healing. As a result, when working with you my goal will be to create a positive therapeutic environment that will provide you the opportunity to uncover solutions to key issues impacting your life.
I commend you for taking the first step towards seeking for a more gratifying and happier life. I look forward in supporting you in the most rewarding journey of your life!
I look forward to us working together!
About online counseling
Online counseling allows you to receive care from an online mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Ranging from $60 to $90 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
