Hi, My name is Amber Wilder, welcome to the first step in making a positive change in your life. I am looking forward to helping you navigate through whatever brought you here today. I am a very easy-going non-judgmental person who is easy to talk with. I have compassion for all of life’s struggles, I am open-minded and provide a calm, laid back, safe atmosphere where we can work together to increase your personal growth and healing.
I have my master’s degree from Fort Hays State University, and I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the states of Nevada and Kansas. My counseling approach ranges from cognitive-behavioral , motivational interviewing, positive psychology, person-centered, dialectical behavioral therapy, psychoeducation, solutions focused, and trauma therapy / Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). However, I focus on the client and tailor what is necessary to help guide you in identifying your strengths and treatment goals that you would like to accomplish.
I am also currently working full time in my private practice Tuesday-Friday and will check my messages here at least 2 times a day. I will respond to your messages as quickly as possible, however, during the times that I am at my other job it will more than likely be before I go to work at 8:00 am or after I get home at 6pm. I am available for video appointments or live chats Monday - Thursday each week.
This is a journey that I am committed to take with you as you seek to live a more happy, meaningful, and fulfilling life. I look forward to working with you!!

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Great and patient
Amber is wonderfully friendly and approachable, it is less like talking to a counselor and more like getting counseling from a friend. She focuses on my concerns and really listens and responds to my concerns in a way that both helps me affirm my personal views while still offering a balanced voice of reason letting me hear what I need to hear rather than just what I want to hear.
Amber is amazing! I have never fully clicked with a therapist before this, but she really just understands me and how my brain works. She is very warm and empathetic, but also not afraid to push me outside of my comfort zone when it's needed. I look forward to our weekly sessions and always leave feeling very energized and happier. I have made so much progress during our time together, I would recommend her to anyone looking for a therapist who truly understands how to work with complex trauma.
Amber in my case helped a lot and very quickly I felt almost healthy despite even the fact that English is not my mother language. I was depressed for so many years and just after a few sessions I felt almost absolutely healthy. I have 2 weeks more of subscription, so I believe that the choice to choose this app was the greatest choice in last 5 years.
