Dr. Carter is one of the best therapists I have ever had. She’s actually taken the time to understand my upbringing and help me work through trauma. She’s been an amazing support especially during times where I had nobody to count on. She truly cares about her patients and it really shines through. I’ve never had a therapist like this. Someone who 100% actually cares about my well-being and finds ways to help

I am a Doctor of Clinical Psychology with over 15 years of experience as a licensed mental health counselor and international life coach. I’ve had the honor of supporting people of all ages, cultures, and backgrounds through a wide range of emotional, spiritual, and psychological challenges.

My clinical experience includes trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, mood disorders, suicidal ideation/attempt, crisis intervention, domestic violence, codependency, and more. I work collaboratively with you to create meaningful, realistic goals and gently track your progress as your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors begin to shift.

My approach is holistic and healing. I blend evidence-based methods with mindfulness, depth work, and spiritual grounding—drawing from psychodynamic therapy, CBT, DBT, solution-focused work, Jungian principles, and other integrative modalities.

In our sessions, you will find warmth, openness, compassion, and complete nonjudgment. I hold a safe, sacred space where your voice is honored and your story is treated with care.

By seeking support, you’ve already taken a powerful step toward healing. You deserve to be heard, understood, and supported. I would be honored to walk with you as we nurture growth, clarity, and transformation together.

If you are looking for someone who will listen to you, help you see your problems as they are and give you concrete, realistic ways to work through them, Dr. Carter is that person. When I discovered BetterHelp, I needed help to break out of a pattern of negative self-talk and avoidance of my problems. I didn't need positive affirmations or a cheerleader, which was what I had gotten with other therapists before. I was at a low point and Dr. Carter was able to help me through it so that I could function and see that it was not a lost cause. She understood my problems and what I wanted to accomplish through therapy. She helped me see where my patterns began and how I keep falling back into them. She continues to help me reframe and re-condition my thinking to break out of my negative patterns and I'm so grateful for her. I highly recommend Dr. Carter for her professionalism, empathy and expertise.
