Welcome!

I’m passionate about helping people reconnect with their authentic selves and create meaningful, lasting change. I support adults navigating a wide range of challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma (including abuse), disordered eating, grief, stress, relationship difficulties, parenting challenges, and life transitions. I also have experience working with mood and personality disorders, substance use, self-harm, and suicidal ideation.

I’m a nationally board-certified counselor and a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) in Montana. I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in addiction from Walden University.

My primary therapeutic orientation is person-centered—meaning I view therapy as a collaborative, empowering process. You are the expert on your life, and I’m here to walk alongside you with support, guidance, and compassion. Healing begins when people feel safe, seen, and respected.

I integrate somatic, relational, and attachment-based work with evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, TF-CBT, existential therapy, mindfulness, crisis intervention, psychoeducation, and solution-focused therapy. I also incorporate holistic practices, such as breathwork, gentle movement, meditation, and grounding techniques, when appropriate. I believe healing often involves learning to listen to your body, reconnect with your intuition, and rebuild trust in your inner voice—especially when it’s been dismissed or overshadowed by past experiences. Everything we do in therapy is tailored to your needs, your pace, and your comfort.

I am certified in Telehealth Therapy (THTC) and currently provide online counseling services.

Practice Hours & Communication

My availability is Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (MST). I typically respond at least once in the morning and once in the evening, sometimes more. You can also schedule live sessions with me in advance.

Please note that I offer audio and live chat sessions only—I do not provide video therapy sessions. This approach allows for a comfortable, flexible, and accessible environment for you to share and heal.

Important Safety Information

BetterHelp is not appropriate for crisis situations or immediate support needs. If you are experiencing suicidal thoughts, considering harming yourself or others, or facing any emergency, please call emergency services immediately (911 in the US, 999 in the UK) or seek in-person help.

If you are experiencing suicidal thoughts or a mental health crisis:

• In the US: Call or text 988, the national Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. The previous number, 1-800-273-TALK (8255), also remains operational.

• In the UK: Call 111, Option 2 for mental health support or reach out to the Samaritans at 116 123. You can also text “DESERVE” to 85258 to connect with trained volunteers.

If You Are Experiencing Domestic Violence or Relationship Abuse

Call the US National Domestic Violence Hotline at 800-799-SAFE (7233) for crisis intervention and referrals to shelters and support services.

Visit the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence for additional resources including shelter and legal aid.

Relationship abuse involves one partner exerting power and control over the other. This can include physical violence, controlling behaviors, or manipulation. Understanding this dynamic can be the first step toward safety and healing.

I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward wellness.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Reviewed July 2024

Ashley is a really good listener and what stands out to me is the fact that she remembers things I say - even the small things. This makes me feel really happy. She helps me approach my problems in a reasonable way, and in a way that’s easy to digest and understand. I feel open when talking to her and I genuinely look forward to our meetings each week. I don’t ever feel judged either. I have opened up about some really hard topics which is something I wasn’t able to do with past therapists. I also really like the homework she assigns me, I feel like they’re always on point and help me work on my issues.
