Hello there! I am happy you have found us! I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor who has over fifteen years of experience in the field and I have a solid foundation in utilizing techniques from Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Schema-Focused Cognitive Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution focused therapy. I also have a strong Christian faith and am very passinate about providing faith based counseling to those individuals that want to incorporate their faith into our sessions. I am known for a warm, relaxed, empathetic approach to counseling; helping you explore ways to make the changes in your life that will allow you to look forward to the future with hope and encouragement. I work with clients from a strength-based, positive and affirming approach, helping you to feel inspired to succeed in whatever areas you would like to focus on.
I earned my BS degree in Clinical Psychology from York College of Pennsylvania, and my MS degree in Mental Health Counseling from Springfield College in Massachusetts.
I work with a wide range of issues including: depression, anxiety, unresolved emotional issues, grief and loss, relational/family concerns, and substance abuse. I also love providing counseling to couples, as this is also a speciality of mine. I look forward to meeting with you and learning more about how I can better help and encourage you during this time!
About online counseling
Online counseling allows you to receive care from an online mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Ranging from $60 to $90 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
