I’ve never been so open and vulnerable to someone before. Then, I signed up for better help and had Angela Robinson as my therapist. She makes me feel comfortable about opening up and talking about my personal issues and insecurities. Because of her, I tell all my friends to sign up for better help. I would 10/10 recommend her to anyone out there looking for help or a therapist.

Grief, loss, and major life changes can turn everything upside down. They can leave you feeling scared, untethered, or wondering who you are now—and how you’re supposed to move forward. If you’ve experienced the death of a loved one, the loss of a meaningful relationship, or a shift in identity that feels disorienting, you’re not broken—and you’re not alone. There is hope. Counseling can be a place where things begin to soften, where clarity returns, and where joy slowly finds its way back in.

My work is deeply shaped by both personal and professional experiences with trauma, grief, and loss. These experiences have led me into what I consider sacred work: walking alongside others during some of life’s most tender and vulnerable moments. I truly believe that healing doesn’t mean forgetting or “moving on,” but learning how to carry your story with more peace, self-compassion, and resilience. Together, we work toward relief, grounding, and a renewed sense of possibility.

I hold a Master’s degree in Community Counseling from Argosy University and am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. I am a trauma-informed therapist, Certified Breathwork Coach, Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP), and a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist®. I am also the co-founder of Sage Center Counseling, where I support clients and help shape a practice rooted in compassion, clarity, and whole-person care.

My journey into mental health work began in 2005 as a Peace Corps volunteer in Honduras, where I supported individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS. That experience profoundly shaped my understanding of resilience, connection, and the human capacity for healing. Since then, I’ve worked in private practice, community agencies, and hospice care, and I continue to provide education and support to healthcare professionals around grief, loss, and self-care.

I specialize in grief and loss, anxiety, PTSD, breathwork, and personal growth, with a strong focus on helping clients build a kinder, more supportive relationship with themselves. My approach is integrative and collaborative, drawing primarily from cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and humanistic therapies, and always tailored to the individual. I believe therapy works best when it’s rooted in trust, honesty, and genuine connection—and that our thoughts are powerful, creative forces that can either keep us stuck or help us heal.

If you’re feeling lost, overwhelmed, or simply ready for something to change, you don’t have to figure it out alone. Healing is possible.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
