I’ve never been so open and vulnerable to someone before. Then, I signed up for better help and had Angela Robinson as my therapist. She makes me feel comfortable about opening up and talking about my personal issues and insecurities. Because of her, I tell all my friends to sign up for better help. I would 10/10 recommend her to anyone out there looking for help or a therapist.

Grief, loss, and big life changes can turn everything upside down. They can leave you feeling scared, untethered, or wondering who you even are now and how you’re supposed to move forward. If you’ve lost someone you love, a meaningful relationship, or a sense of identity that once grounded you, you’re not broken...and you’re not alone. There is hope. Counseling can be a place where things begin to soften, where clarity slowly returns, and where moments of peace and joy find their way back in.

My work is shaped by both personal and professional experiences with trauma, grief, loss, and anxiety. For much of my own life, I didn’t realize that anxiety was driving how I moved through the world. It wasn’t until adulthood that I understood what had been there all along. That lived experience, alongside my clinical training, has led me into what I consider sacred work: walking alongside people during some of the most tender and vulnerable moments of their lives. I don’t believe healing means forgetting or “moving on.” Instead, it’s about learning how to carry your story with more steadiness, self-compassion, and peace. Together, we work toward relief, grounding, and a renewed sense of possibility.

I hold a Master’s degree in Community Counseling from Argosy University and am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. I’m a trauma-informed therapist, Certified Breathwork Coach, Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP), and a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist®. I’m also the co-founder of Sage Center Counseling, where I support clients and help shape a practice rooted in compassion, clarity, and whole-person care.

In addition to my clinical work, I’m the author of Calm in the Chaos: A Guide to Finding Peace Amid Political Anxiety in Less Than 30 Days and Buggin’ Out: An Anxiety & Mindfulness Guide for Kids & Teens. My books are an extension of my clinical work, offering approachable tools for understanding and navigating anxiety, grief, and uncertainty.

My path into mental health work began in 2005 as a Peace Corps volunteer in Honduras, where I supported individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS. That experience profoundly shaped how I understand resilience, connection, and the human capacity to heal. Since then, I’ve worked in private practice, community settings, and hospice care, and I continue to provide education and support to healthcare professionals around grief, loss, and self-care.

I specialize in grief and loss, anxiety, trauma (PTSD/CPTSD), breathwork, and personal growth. A central part of my work is helping individuals build a kinder, more supportive relationship with themselves. My approach is collaborative and integrative, drawing from cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and humanistic therapies, always tailored to you. I believe therapy works best when it’s grounded in trust, honesty, and real connection...and when we honor how powerful our thoughts can be in keeping us stuck or helping us heal.

If you’re feeling lost, overwhelmed, or simply ready for something to change, you don’t have to figure it out on your own. Healing is possible, and support is here.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
