Nicola is the kind of therapist who makes you forget you’re in therapy — in the best possible way. She’s kind, funny, and incredibly relatable, which makes navigating even the messiest emotional situations feel just a little more human (and a lot less overwhelming). Our sessions feel more like having a really honest chat with a good friend — one who somehow always knows exactly what to say, asks the right questions, and gently untangles the emotional knots without ever making it feel clinical or heavy. What I love most is that I always leave our sessions feeling calmer, clearer, and with a better understanding of what’s going on — even when the situation itself hasn’t changed. That kind of grounded clarity is rare, and deeply valuable. If you're navigating something complicated — or just want a therapist who gets it without being rigid or overly formal — Nicola is an absolute gem.

Are you feeling lost, overwhelmed or like you've somehow lost yourself?
Perhaps you're dealing with a difficult relationship, recovering from emotional or narcissistic abuse, going through a separation or divorce, or trying to cope with a major change in your life.
You might look fine on the outside, while inside you're exhausted, anxious, confused or struggling to know what you actually want.
Maybe you've spent a long time putting everyone else first, questioning yourself or trying to keep the peace. You may have been made to doubt your own feelings, decisions or even your own version of events.
You don't have to have everything figured out before you come to counselling.
I'm Nicki, a qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor and clinical supervisor, and I've been working in the therapeutic sector since 2017. I'm also an accredited member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS).
My approach is warm, relaxed and down to earth. I'm not a formal, clinical or intimidating therapist. I want you to feel comfortable being yourself and able to talk openly about whatever is going on for you.
All your feelings are welcome here.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Its only been afew sessions but Nicola's manner and response to me is greatly helpful nd insightful and definitely helping me through everything. I only wish I had found her early when I was in the middle of my experience as I feel she would have really been able to help me through the process in a healthier manner for myself.
