Nora listens and asks questions to make me think of ways to help me with my issues.

I have never stuck with a therapist for as long as I’ve been seeing Nora. She has provided a safe space where I actually feel like I’m being heard. She challenges my own self-diminishing ideas and has given me tools I use daily to manage my anxiety. I recommend therapy to so many more people after connecting with her. If you haven’t found your person, keep looking, it’s worth it.

Nora is a very receptive person. She responds well to my thoughts and my reactions to situations and circumstances. She has encouraged me to begin journaling again and have found it very helpful. She has also suggested reading material that could help me better understand myself. After only three sessions I am confident that I have chosen the therapist to help me learn and grow.

Nora Black brings a calming vibe to you right away, which we all need in therapy, but especially those struggling with anxiety. She listens intently with an open mind and a true interest in understanding you on a personal level. She truly cares. She teaches breathing and grounding techniques that you’ll actually want to do, even when you’re feeling good. When she’s proud of you, you feel proud of yourself.

I have been working with Nora for several months now and every session I have with her only gets better! She is so understanding, listens to all my concerns, and gives the best advice and words of encouragement. I struggle with anxiety and have had a lot of childhood trauma and she has helped me navigate these issues, and helps me function better day by day! She has dug up things I never would think to talk about! She remembers what we talk about and always asks about my family! I am so thankful for her, and so happy she has helped me navigate my mental health and get through my days with a little more brightness! Thank you Nora!
