Hello and welcome

I’m a BACP-credentialed counsellor and psychotherapist with over 10 years’ experience supporting adults, couples and young people through a range of emotional and life challenges.

You may be coming to therapy because you feel overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected from yourself, or unsure how to move forward. Perhaps something has happened in your life that has left you questioning yourself, your relationships or what you want next. Whatever has brought you here, therapy can provide a space to slow things down, make sense of what you’re experiencing and begin to understand what you need.

I work in a warm, calm and non-judgemental way, creating space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, relationships and patterns at your own pace. I believe therapy is not about telling you what you should do, but about helping you develop a deeper understanding of yourself so that you can make choices that feel right for you.

### Areas I can support you with

* Anxiety, stress and low mood

* Depression and emotional overwhelm

* Relationship and communication difficulties

* Workplace stress and career transitions

* Parenting and family challenges

* Trauma, grief and loss

* Life changes and periods of uncertainty

* Self-esteem, confidence and personal growth

### What you can expect

Depending on what you need, therapy may be short-term and focused on a particular issue, or longer-term if you want space for deeper exploration and personal growth.

Our sessions can include reflective conversation, exploring patterns and relationships, and practical strategies where these feel helpful. Most importantly, I want therapy to be a space where you can be honest about what you’re experiencing without feeling judged.

I offer flexible online sessions through video, phone, live chat and messaging.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. We can begin with where you are now and work from there.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Louisa has been such a great support and I couldn’t recommend her enough. Thank you.

Louisa is a great therapist, she listens with empathy, provides guidance and always looks to dig deeper with you to fully understand your feelings and emotions. I have particularly appreciated Louisa's support during my pregnancy.

Louisa has made me feel at ease from the start of my therapy journey. I appreciate her professionalism, empathy and care towards me as my therapist.

Louisa is an amazing therapist! This was my first time ever trying therapy and she exceeded my expectations. She was able to narrow down on the root causes of my problems and she gently guided me towards healing. Her empathetic and intelligent approach was spot on. I feel more at peace with my issues than I’ve felt in years. I already started to recommend BetterHelp to everyone around me.

Louisa is insightful and thoughtful. I would recommend working with her to anyone.
