Karen was patient with me and professional. I didn’t feel rushed to express myself and she made our session feel like a safe space. She was generous with her time and always checked on me if I had been absent for sometime. At the end of every session she always reiterated what we discussed and steps to take which made me feel heard. I would definitely recommend Karen for anyone seeking therapy

Karen has helped me hugely through her the past few months. She gave me hope that therapy can work for me after I struggled with other therapists in person. She listens and doesn’t just repeat back but offers more thoughts and helps me find solutions as well as encouraging me when I am doing things that work for me and making progress.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Words cannot describe how incredible Karen has been and no doubt will continue to be with any client. I began therapy with very little expectation and my anxiety had gotten so severe that I couldn’t even leave the house. In the months I’ve spent with Karen, she has had an immeasurable impact on my behaviour and my thought patterns in the most positive and beneficial way. The difference in me from 3 months ago is just astounding. Karen is a real credit to Better Help and I am so appreciative that I was paired with her as I know it can be hard to find the right therapist for you. I cannot recommend her enough and I’ll forever be thankful for her impact.
