I am licensed in State of Iowa with 12 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with coping with chronic pain, sleeping disorders, medical/health adversity, geriatric-related life changes, career difficulties, military related issues, anxiety, and depression. After gathering a comprehensive history and your identified goals for therapy during our initial session, I will work with you to tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. For some, taking the first step and signing-up for therapy can feel intimidating and unfamiliar. I am committed to fostering a supportive and accepting environment to assist you with reaching you identified goals and become a healthier you.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
