  • LISW, LCSW

As a licensed therapist working in Ohio and Kentucky, I specialize in supporting individuals navigating complex emotional landscapes. My practice centers on helping clients address life's challenges with compassionate, personalized care. My therapeutic approach is deeply attuned to diverse experiences, with a strong commitment to creating a supportive environment for all people. I offer a non-judgmental space where clients can explore their unique stories, develop resilience, and cultivate meaningful strategies for overall well-being.

I made a major life change in 2013 deciding to move careers from business management to something heart-led after a particularly difficult time. This helped me learn that the best things in life can come out of our most challenging experiences. From this, I'm particularly passionate about working with individuals exploring self-love, empowerment, identity, and personal transformation. In addition to therapy focused on reducing the psychological impact of chronic illness and pain.

Drawing from evidence-based practices, I support clients through a wide range of experiences—from managing anxiety, depression, and addressing trauma, to managing stress, relationship challenges, and life purpose exploration. My goal is to empower you to build stronger self-awareness, understanding and create positive, sustainable change in your life.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

I tend to try and deal with things on my own so when I finally got to the point where I decided I needed therapy, I was really lucky to find Genevieve. I was lucky in finding a therapist who understood a lot of the hobbies, gets on tangents with me, and manages to get me to talk about my problems as I usually try to brush them under the rug. I enjoy that we have similar personality traits, so that I have someone who relates while also being able to give professional ideas and tips on how to better myself. I feel more comfortable talking to her than I usually do with anyone else!
