I am so grateful I matched with Gemma as a therapist on this platform. She is so professional, knowledgeable and passionate but also provides a safe space where I can be comfortable and vulnerable. As cliché as it is, therapy has been a life changing experience for me. It's given me clarity, understanding and more acceptance towards why I am the way I am. I see small everyday changes in my mindset and behaviour; I also take solace that I have a very supportive, compassionate and humorous therapist that makes the more heavy days that much lighter. Thanks Gemma!

Friendly and professional, Gemma manages our sessions productively and creates a safe environment to open up

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

Gemma is a kind and attentive therapist. She listens carefully during every session, even paying attention to the most minute details. Most importantly for me is that she keeps me accountable. She’s not only a caring shoulder, but she’s also invested in making sure I achieve my goals.

Wonderful. I just need a someone to talk to, guide me and remind me. She’s incredibly caring, understanding and empathetic. I find it very difficult to talk and connect with my emotions and she’s the only therapist I’ve ever trusted enough to open up to

Gemma has been a soils support for me since the moment we first spoke over video. I have the space to talk as much or as little as I want, I feel she is listening to me 100% of the time we talk and she confirms this in a variety of ways. I rave about her to anyone that will listen to me. She has gotten to know me and my humor and my nuances over the months and knows how to help motivate me.

Gemma is wonderful at giving space to speak and time to reply. Her responses are thoughtful and considered and she will check in that I understand her reply/question/challenge. She is very patient and doesn't have awkward silences. I can tell she is always thinking and is very professional without being "stuffy". She had a sense of humor and can share a laugh.

Gemma is a great listener, seems to keep copious notes, even dealing with a fast talking, make long story - longer, New Yorker like me... It’s still early days, but I have been able to be vulnerable with Gemma early on in our sessions and have also experienced changes in my life, changes which stem from my time spent speaking with her. I’m grateful to have found a therapist I jive with right off the bat. Looking forward to continued growth as a person, with the help of Gemma’s suggestions and insights.
