Indeed understands my mental health needs, my personal preferences in terms of my personal faith and how this interacts with my life and choices. She is a considerate listener and has lots of counselling wisdom which comes out not only in the way she listens, but in the way she reflects back what I've been asking. She also asks helpful questions which have helped me to understand myself more effectively and lead me to think deeper about the challenges I face both with my health and in life more generally. I'm grateful for Ingreids' assistance.

I feel very safe with Ingrid, I know exactly what to expect and find her very professional whilst still being compassionate. I never feel patronised or pitied, and I always feel I have her full attention but never in a way that's overwhelming. I really appreciate the kind but powerful presence she brings to sessions, I always know I'm in good hands ?

Hello, I am Ingried.

I know that sometimes reaching out for support can feel difficult, especially when you have been carrying a lot on your own. You may be feeling anxious, overwhelmed, low, stuck, grieving, experiencing relationship difficulties, or simply unsure about what comes next. Whatever has brought you to therapy, you do not have to work through it alone.

I am a UK-qualified Integrative Counsellor with 6 years of counselling experience. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Counselling and Coaching and a Master’s degree in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology.

I offer a warm, calm, and non-judgmental space where you can speak openly, feel heard, and be accepted as you are. We will work at your pace, focusing on what matters most to you.

My approach is integrative, compassionate, trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and faith-sensitive. I draw from **CBT, Person-Centred Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, and Positive Psychology**, adapting our work to your individual needs rather than using one approach for everyone.

I support adults experiencing **anxiety, depression and low mood, stress, trauma, grief and loss, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, identity concerns, life transitions, and feelings of being stuck or disconnected**.

A key part of my work is helping you recognise your strengths and develop **hope, self-belief, resilience, and optimism**. Together, we can explore difficult experiences and patterns while developing practical strategies to help you cope and move forward.

If faith or spirituality is important to you, I can also provide space to explore your relationship with God and how your faith connects with your emotional wellbeing. Therapy is always guided by your own values and beliefs.

I warmly welcome people from all backgrounds, cultures, identities, and life experiences, including LGBTQ+ communities, and aim to provide a respectful and affirming space without judgement.

Our first session is an opportunity to understand what has brought you to therapy, what you would like support with, and what you hope to gain from our work together.

You do not need to have all the answers. We can start wherever you are.

If you feel ready to take that first step, I would be honoured to walk alongside you on your journey.

It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. 10/10, would definitely recommend!

Ingried is amazing. She works at a pace that’s suits me and is very professional and accurate in helping me manoeuvre any of my issues. She always checks in with me in between sessions just to make sure I’m doing okay. Couldn’t ask for a better therapist

Ingried has been a great therapist since I have started my therapy journey so far, provides me the safe space to share and listens attentively to find the root issues of my concerns and provides me with the knowledge/tools to tackle my issues. I would definetly reccomend her to anyone that wants to take the first step in therapy and learning about themselves.

I have found my sessions with Ingried so insightful. She has helped me navigate a life time worth of issues and has helped me so much so far. She is compassionate kind insightful so experienced with many issues that I had. She has been a blessing in my life

Ingried takes time and listens intently. She is expert in many areas of life. She is very gentle and doesn’t hurry you. She is understanding.

Ingried is very helpful she listens learns and then helps offering advice and alternatives to questions you may need to ask she has been very helpful and really has assisted me in my current situation as well as past trauma

Ingried has been amazing in just a couple of sessions so far. She has listened intently and been able to bring such valuable insight and advice. I'm so glad I chose to start this journey and am looking forward to contuining with Ingried's support.

Very thorough, thoughtful and helpful. She helped me get out of a very bad place last year and now I’m seeing things differently and making significant progress.

Ingried is a wonderful therapist - she allows you to go at your own pace whilst also encouraging you towards the work that needs to be done. She is never judgemental and gently frames situations with clarity and compassion - her expertise is amazing and sessions may deal with difficult matters but they never feel uncomfortable.

I am truly grateful for Ingried and her strong ability to ascertain and assimilate all that I share with her. She listens closely and has a way of repeating it back to you through conversation, which shows attention to detail and understanding. Therapy most times is about being heard and not feeling judged. Ingried hears me and is able to draw out things/emotions I may struggle to express. She has a good balance of allowing me to feel where I am now and projecting where I can be to heal. I highly recommend her.
