Amie is wonderful. She is attentive and listens carefully. From the moment she comes online (she is punctual!) Amie has a wonderfully welcoming smile which helps me start to relax immediately. She looks young but has a surprising wisdom and expertise, so its easy to forget her youth. Amie has quite a strong Irish accent so some words can be misinderstood, causing crossed wires and then lots of laughter. She is really kind and welcomes even the scariest story and doesnt make a drama of anything. She keeps things calm and sort of takes everything in her stride, no matter how scary the topic feels. She somehow 'holds' me to give me the strength to kwep talking. Amie really is special.

Amie is a brilliant therapist. I feel completely at ease when speaking to her. I know I can say anything without judgment and she will have the tools to help me navigate through the journey of my mental health. She is very equipped but also very caring and kind with her words. I’d highly recommend Amie.

Hi, my name is Amie registered counsellor with the BACP.

Are you feeling overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or stuck in patterns you can’t seem to break? Perhaps anxiety is taking over, your mood feels low, work stress is becoming unmanageable, or you’re struggling to cope with grief, loss, infertility, chronic health issues, or life changes that feel difficult to navigate alone.

You may also be finding difficulties in relationships with friends, family, or others close to you.

I provide a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can speak openly and feel heard.

As an integrative therapist, I tailor therapy to your individual needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. This means we can combine practical tools to help manage day-to-day challenges with deeper therapeutic exploration to better understand patterns, emotions, and experiences.

Seeking support can feel daunting, but therapy can offer a space to gain clarity, build resilience, and create meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.

It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. Amie has a calm and soothing presence, with a voice that made me feel truly heard. As I opened up about the deep pain from my past trauma, her gentle acknowledgment and understanding made me feel as though I was speaking with someone who genuinely gets me. Unfortunately, I have to pause my BetterHelp therapy due to financial challenges, but if my situation changes, I will definitely return and seek out Amie Carson.
