Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Leslie, and I’m passionate about helping children, teens, and women feel seen, supported, and empowered. Life can feel overwhelming at times — whether it’s a child struggling to manage big emotions, a teen dealing with self-esteem or friendship challenges, or a woman trying to balance everything on her plate. My goal is to create a safe, understanding space where you or your child can explore those feelings and begin to find calm and confidence again.

Clients often describe me as warm, down-to-earth, and easy to talk to. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine, caring partnership where we work together to understand what’s going on and how to move forward in a way that feels right for you.

My approach is gentle, supportive, and always tailored to the person sitting in front of me. With children, I often use play and creative activities to help them express what they might not have words for yet. With teens, I focus on building trust and helping them feel heard while we work on tools for managing stress, anxiety, or self-doubt. For women, I provide a space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with their sense of self and strength.

I draw from approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and strengths-based techniques — but more than anything, I focus on connection. I want every client to feel safe, valued, and understood as we work toward growth and healing together.

What you can expect from me:

The first session is really about getting to know each other. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out — I’ll ask some questions about what’s been going on and what brought you (or your child) to therapy, but mostly, I want to understand your story.

For kids and teens, I focus on helping them feel comfortable — we might talk, draw, or use activities to get to know each other. For adults, it’s a relaxed conversation where we explore what’s been challenging and what you’re hoping to change or understand better. By the end of our time together, we’ll have a clearer idea of what therapy could look like and how I can best support you moving forward.

It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
