Maybe you learned to survive things no child should have had to.
Maybe you were ignored, controlled, hurt, silenced, or left to figure life out on your own.
Maybe you’ve always had to be the strong one—but underneath, you feel anxious, disconnected, angry, ashamed, or just tired.
If any of that sounds familiar, I want you to know:
You are not broken. Your symptoms make sense. Your story matters.
You learned to adapt in ways that kept you alive—emotionally, physically, even spiritually. But survival isn’t the same as safety, connection, or peace. That’s where the real healing work begins.
I specialize in working with adult survivors of childhood trauma and abuse—especially those whose pain has been ignored, minimized, or misunderstood.
People who’ve spent years in therapy but still feel stuck.
People who don’t have the words for what they carry.
People who feel like no one ever really sees them—just their coping.
I use an approach called Brainspotting, which helps your brain and body process trauma at the level where it was stored—not just talked about.
Let me explain it this way:
When something traumatic happens—especially in childhood—it often bypasses logic and language. It gets stored deep in the brain and body, like a frozen file. And even decades later, that "file" can still affect how you feel, relate, react, or shut down.
Brainspotting uses eye position to help access those stuck places. Where you look affects how your brain processes emotion. By finding the “spot” that connects to that frozen place, your brain and body begin to release what’s been held—gently, safely, at your pace.
You don’t have to re-tell the trauma.
You don’t have to explain what you don’t remember.
Your body already knows what needs healing. I just help you listen.
Here’s what working with me feels like:
You’ll never be rushed, pushed, or asked to go deeper than you’re ready for.
You’ll be met with warmth, consistency, and zero judgment.
You’ll get to be human, not “resilient” or “inspirational.”
You’ll be allowed to fall apart if you need to—and put things back together slowly, in your own time.
I believe healing doesn’t mean erasing the past.
It means finally learning how to feel safe in the present.
To soften. To exhale. To reconnect with the parts of you that were forced to hide.
To build a life that feels true—not just survivable.
If you’ve lived through childhood trauma, you’ve already done the hard part: you survived.
Now, if you’re ready, we can begin the work of healing—together.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Overall rating:
Always attentive and compassionate
Jennifer is wonderful, makes you feel heard and important!
Jennifer is extremely compassionate and understanding, even responding to messages sent at late hours when I'm having a hard time, and in just a few sessions has already helped me come to terms with things that haven't been right in my life more than anyone else ever has. This has been my first experience with actually talking to a therapist, and she's been excellent the whole time and has calmed a lot of the fears and negativity about therapy that have been ingrained in me growing up.
