I have 21 years of experience working with adults. My specialization is trauma - sexual abuse, sexual assault, childhood traumas, domestic violence, grief and loss of loved ones. I have also had extensive experience with those experiencing depression and anxiety, as well as substance abuse and relapse prevention. I understand that the journey through trauma to recovery is a delicate and personal one. My goal is to provide a supportive and compassionate space in which to process and release the many complex and confusing emotions and behaviors that can result from a history of trauma, loss, addiction, depression and anxiety. Even if you feel that your problems are not that complex, my training and expertise can help you to identify the nature of your problem and together we can find solutions.
I am skilled in the areas of assessment, diagnosis, treatment and planning, I guide you through mindfulness, coping skills development, meditation, problem solving and simple reframing of an issue at hand. I tailor the treatment to each individual - in general I use an eclectic approach. My treatment modalities include Trauma Focused CBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, Expressive Arts assisted therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and CBT-I (CBT for insomnia) M y mission is to provide you with the highest quality service in order to help you achieve your goals in therapy and in life.
I will work with you in a way that builds on your strengths and potential, and challenges you to take your life to the next level. My approach is down to earth and direct, yet compassionate and caring. Together, I am confident that you can see the changes that you are willing to make.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Pamela is an excellent therapist who give her clients lots of room to talk and is very encouraging! She gives great suggestions and is a hopeful person to talk to in time a of crisis and when seeking self-improvement. Don't hesitate to choose Pamela as a counselor.
Pam has given me practical advise about anger management, self-forgiveness, how to set boundaries , and on how to communicate more effectively with others who have varied communication styles. She is lovingly blunt and clearly has my best interest at heart. She shows me where I need improvement transparently and without blame. She is careful in constructing her responses and very sweet when it comes to expression. She’s shown me that it’s okay to go for a walk, enjoy the day, and even share, respective to the environment, things about myself and the value in not living muted. Thank You Pam!

Pam is a wonderful and caring counselor who is great at helping guide you to your own solutions. I love working with her.
I've only had a couple of sessions so far, but I've been very impressed with the on line counseling experience. I have to admit, I was on the fence about it for months, but once I decided to try it, I'm so glad that I did. Pamela is very professional, has a lot of experience in a lot of relevant areas, is kind, understanding, attentive. I love how she checks on me every few days through the messaging app of this website. I love the worksheets she has sent me & the suggested reading materials. I thought on line counseling would be impersonal, but it's not at all. I love how you can see the therapist's education background, their qualifications & experience as well as their current license. She's such a good listener & is direct yet not harsh. The price is also very reasonable for a mental health professional as well. I highly recommend this website as well as this mental health professional personally.
Pamela has been so helpful compared to councilors I have had in the past. Very down to earth and doesn't push anything out of me.
Pamela is supportive, thorough, patient and understanding. She is extremely genuine and she helps to hold me accountable in a caring manner.
Pamela has been incredibly supportive for the past few months and I'm so glad to have been matched with her. She checks on me every few days which I deeply appreciate. I have never felt even remotely judged despite a multitude of issues and a serious mental illness. She's been nothing but kind and understanding every week and I am very thankful for her help!
Pamela is great! She is friendly and helpful, and I feel better after talking to her. I definitely recommend her!
