Hi, I’m Adrian, an integrative therapist providing a warm and supportive space to help you explore a range of challenges. Whether you might be experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma or low self-esteem, I'm here to support your journey.

How does therapy work?

Therapy works in different ways depending on what you need. I use several approaches to help you recognise patterns, manage emotions and create lasting change. The process is very much collaborative; it’s about you feeling heard and supported, not being told what to do. Together, we'll explore your experiences, unpack what’s holding you back and work on building a life that feels more fulfilling.

Sometimes, we'll talk about your past - including childhood - to understand how those experiences might be affecting you now. Other times, we might use written exercises to help you process emotions or develop new coping strategies. And sometimes, it’s just about giving you the space to talk things through, without judgment, so you can get the clarity and relief you need.

The goal is to help you become more self-aware, build resilience, and create meaningful change in your life - at a pace that works for you.

How important is finding the right therapist?

One of the most important aspects of therapy, in my view, is the relationship between therapist and client. Change doesn’t happen in isolation it happens in connection. I strive to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself, knowing that you’re not being judged but rather supported with empathy and understanding. Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process, which is why I tailor my approach to each person I work with, drawing on different therapeutic models to best suit your needs and goals.

Whether you’re feeling stuck, struggling with emotions, or simply looking for a space to better understand yourself, I’m here to help. If you’re ready to take the next step, I’d love to support you on your journey.

Do you specialise in any areas in particular?

Although I work with both men and women in the ways discussed above, a part of what I do is supporting men in exploring and expressing their emotions. In my experience, many men have grown up in environments where vulnerability is discouraged, often leading to feelings of being disconnected from their emotions or unsure how to express them in a healthy way. Over time, this can lead to struggles with relationships, self-esteem, and even mental health. I help men break down these barriers, develop emotional awareness, and find new ways to express themselves that feel authentic and empowering.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked many years in hospitality. I also worked for charities in mentoring and rehabilitation programmes, supporting individuals in prison as they navigated personal growth and reintegration. This particular experience gave me a deep understanding of resilience, transformation, and the challenges that come with change. It also reinforced my belief that no one is beyond help, regardless of what someone has been through. I’ve seen first hand that with the right support, people are capable of profound personal growth.

As an integrative therapist, I am trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Theory & Person-Centred Therapy. As well as my training, I am registered with The British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP). This means that besides my training qualifications, I work in an ethical manner underpinned by my association.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
