Only done a couple of sessions but she listens respectfully and non judgementally. It makes opening up about my issues easier.

More about Martha

Hi, I’m Martha - thank you for being here. I work with people who want to understand themselves more deeply, whether that means untangling anxiety, navigating relationships, making sense of past experiences, or simply learning how to be more fully themselves. I offer a warm, grounded space where nothing you bring will be “too much.”

My approach is rooted in person-centred therapy, which means I believe that the quality of our relationship - honesty, empathy, and real human connection - is at the heart of any meaningful change. I don’t come with quick-fix answers, but I will be alongside you with curiosity and compassion.

I also draw on my background in psychology, CBT techniques, somatic awareness, and holistic models of wellbeing to support clients in practical ways when needed. I see therapy as both a place of safety and a place of transformation.

I value transparency and I’ll be clear with you about what I can offer. The therapeutic relationship needs to feel right, and while I hope that could be with me, it matters most that you find someone you connect with. If that’s me, I’d be honoured to walk alongside you.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
