I'm a qualified therapist with a Master of Social Work from Griffith University and a Bachelor of Psychology from Swinburne University. My work has spanned various settings, including private practice, community mental health, and non-profits, in which I have worked with individuals across the lifespan. My approach to therapy centers on creating a safe, respectful, and open space for you. I adopt a warm, empathic, curious, open-minded, authentic, client-centred, non-judgmental and dynamic stance as a therapist. I believe establishing a genuine and collaborative connection is fundamental, allowing you to feel secure and comfortable to fully explore your experiences and speak openly about joys, fears, challenges, loves, frustrations, desires and any other elements of human experience.

I use an integrative and flexible approach to therapy, drawing on what current research shows to be effective. This means I combine elements from modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, and Schema Therapy. Where possible, I aim to work with you not just on managing symptoms but also making connections to their underlying causes. I have a particular focus on trauma, depression, anxiety, stress management, relationship issues, grief and bereavement, and significant life transitions. I acknowledge the tremendous courage involved in seeking support and look forward to connecting with new clients.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
