Hi, I’m Sara, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience in the mental health space where I have been helping individuals navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and substance use. I specialize in working with adults, first responders, active duty military and veterans who are living with complex PTSD, relationship challenges, and emotional dysregulation. As a trauma-trained therapist, I’m passionate about creating a safe and collaborative space for healing.

In therapy, I use a client-centered, culturally responsive approach grounded in evidence-based modalities. I work with you to identify your goals and strengths, and together we build practical tools to manage symptoms, deepen insight, and move toward meaningful change.

Currently, I serve as the Outpatient Clinical Director at a program in Denver, where I oversee intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs for clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns. My background also includes years of inpatient work, and advocacy for inclusive, equity-driven care as part of multiple DEI groups.

Whether you’re beginning therapy for the first time or returning to the process, I honor the courage it takes to seek support. I believe healing happens in safe relationships, and I strive to meet each client with empathy, consistency, and authenticity. I’d be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
