I am not your traditional counselor—I come to this as a diagnosed Neurodivergent with a learning disability (dysgraphia). I am proof that if I can do it, so can you. This is a second career for me and I am before anything else a wife, mom and grandmother. So, I bring both clinical and lived experience to the therapeutic space. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. No single approach works for everyone, every time. Instead, I encourage clients to explore what works for them personally. I emphasize that change is a shared process—50% of it is your buy-in, your belief in what you're doing. Just because a technique is proven doesn’t mean it will resonate with every person. I’m not the kind of provider who believes people should be in therapy forever. I believe in building autonomy. Our thoughts influence our feelings, which then shape our behavior—but ultimately, we are each responsible for the choices we make. At any moment, we're only one decision away from a completely different life. The most powerful thing we possess is the ability to choose our attitude in any situation. Life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we respond. In every challenge, we have three choices: let it destroy us, define us, or inspire us to thrive in spite of it.Are you feeling overwhelmed by the weight of stress and anxiety? Do you struggle with a lack of motivation, or find your confidence has slipped away? The first step toward a more fulfilling life is always the hardest, and I'm here to help you take it.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 3 years of experience in Virginia, I specialize in helping clients navigate life's challenges. I have extensive experience with stress, anxiety, parenting issues, and self-esteem. I also work with individuals coping with major life changes, depression, and trauma.

My approach is direct, yet compassionate. I don't just listen; I actively partner with you to identify the root of your concerns and build practical coping skills. I work to create an open and safe environment where you can share your thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment. My goal is to equip you with the tools, resources and insights you need to feel empowered and in control of your life.

Whether you prefer the flexibility of video sessions or the immediacy of live chat, I am ready to support you on your journey.

It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
