Hello, my name is Trudie and I am registered as a counsellor in the UK , to work with individuals over the age of 18 years.

I have worked as a qualified and registered counsellor, with clients, both in my private practice and in a clinical setting for six years and before that I was a bereavement support volunteer, which is what led to me training as a counsellor.

During that time I have worked with clients who have experienced a wide range of difficulties including, bereavement, relational problems, disability, health problems, anxiety, stress, low self esteem.

Nothing is too big, or too small to bring to counselling, whatever is concerning you, will concern me too.

I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment, in a confidential space.

As a counsellor, I know how difficult just taking that first step and contacting a counsellor can be. It takes courage to open up to someone about what's going on for us in our lives.

If you are ready to take those first steps, I am here to support you.

It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
