I am an Australian registered psychologist and full member of the Australian Psychological Society. I have over 30 years of counselling experience helping people experiencing a wide range of psychological issues, both in-person and online, and within a variety of both public and private settings.
These diverse emotional and mental health issues include, but are not restricted to, substance use (drug and alcohol), anxiety, adjustment and change, depression, stress management, anger management, self-esteem, motivation, and problem solving.
I provide short- and long-term interventions to assist clients to improve their emotional and psychological wellbeing using evidence-based approaches. Strategies include cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, psycho-education, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness.
My therapy style is warm, respectful, compassionate, and collaborative. Furthermore, I strongly believe that you are the expert of your story and that you already have many of the strengths and characteristics necessary to assist you in overcoming the things that challenge you!
Therapy can be a bit like feeling your way in the dark - one step at a time! Taking the first step towards a happier and more fulfilling life takes courage and I applaud you for getting started. I am looking forward to walking alongside you as you take your next steps, as well as supporting and empowering you along the way.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
