If it feels like you are in a dark tunnel all alone by yourself, where even your cries are becoming echoes.......

Reach out.

I want to meet you where you are. Right there, right in the middle, of all the darkness and struggles, with you.

And I have no intention of having to push you anywhere else.

My calling to counselling is this simple:

to

"Meet Them In Their Darkness."

There is no second half to that sentence— like "and walk with them to a better place" or "bringing in the light";

For years I was striving to add the 2nd part, only to realise, it is YOU that I need to respect and treasure. It 's You that have to face all the life's odds, it is You that's right there bracing yourself for the strong waves and storms that come your way. No one else is there to replace you. It's not about what I can or cannot do. It's about You and Being There With You.

To be invited into your story, learn your pace, gain your view, understand your experience, and, get your heartbeat.

Thus, my calling is Just this simple:

"MEET".

I want to be a living personhood, not an AI, not an NPC (a pre-programmed character in a video game), not a puppet................but a Real Person with a living beating heart, to be in the place with you where you might think no one else is there.

Meet You in Your Darkness.

That's my calling.

------------------------

Besides that, my professional background:

- Master of Arts in Counselling (Palo Alto University, USA)

- Level 4 Member, Australian Counselling Association (ACA)

- National Certified Counsellor (NCC, USA) and National Certified School Counsellor (NCSC, USA)

Over the past 12 years, my journey has taken me from the Psychological Health Center of Beijing United Family Hospital to Keystone Academy - a prestigious international school in Beijing - and now to a leading private school here in Sydney. I have seen many wonderful families struggling under pressure, and I’ve also witnessed the most resilient lives bloom in the tiniest cracks.

I integrate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Play Therapy, and Attachment Therapy into my practice.

In session, I also strive to seek a perspective from Above, as I couldn't deny Christianity as my faith identity and that's also where I received my calling. However, whether you have a faith background or not, I deeply respect and value your unique worldview.

-----------------------

Outside the therapy room, my life is... well, very grounded (and a bit messy!):

- A mom of two, full of parenting surprises and shocks.

- A wife of 15 years, yet still feels like we are in the "storming" stage of this duo's development ;D

- A reluctant gym enthusiast - train like a warrior once, then disappear for a month..........

Not a perfect expert. Just another person living a chaotic, real life.

-----------------------------------

But, I am always willing — forever willing — to meet you in the darkness.

Just let me know.
