If something in your life feels stuck, unclear, or harder than it should be, now you are in the right place.
I'm Liisa, and I want to be honest with you from the beginning: I am direct, trauma-informed and I am an advocate for your change.
If you are looking for someone who will simply tell you what you want to hear, or ask you 'how does that make you feel'...I may not be your person. I believe real change starts with being willing to look honestly at where things actually stand, the facts and our part in them, not just the story we tell ourselves about it.
I will challenge your thinking when I believe it will help you. I will ask the questions that may be difficult to answer, and I will encourage you to take responsibility for the things that are within your control. But I will do this with respect, without judgement, and with the intention of helping you move forward to change your life, heal and feel better.
I see my role is not 'just' to listen. My role is to help you see clearly, understand what is really driving the situation, think logically, and become an advocate for the change you want to make in yourself and your life.
My Background
I am a PACFA Clinical Counsellor with over 20 years of professional experience supporting individuals, families, and professionals through personal and professional challenges.
I hold dual Master's degrees in Counselling and Business Coaching, along with a BFA in Design. This allows me to work holistically and creatively, integrating emotional wellbeing, relationships, work, leadership, and life direction SMART Goals.
As a global citizen who has lived and worked across Australia, the USA, UK, Europe, and Asia, I specialise in supporting expats and their families through relocation, cultural adjustment, identity shifts, and the unique challenges that can come with living between cultures.
I also provide executive, C-suite, and EAP coaching, supporting mental and emotional clarity, balance, leadership, and sustainable performance through evidence-based practice.
Who I Work With
Clients come to me with a wide range of challenges, emotional pain, relationship difficulties, low confidence, brain fog, emotional ups and downs, professional difficulties, life transitions, leadership pressures, and the weight of taking personal responsibility for the problems of life.
How I Work
My approach is trauma-informed, thoughtful, and collaborative.
We look at the facts: What is actually happening? What is driving the behaviour? What patterns are keeping you stuck? And what does the evidence tell us can genuinely help you change?
I combine evidence-based counselling with practical tools such as SMART goal-setting, creative problem-solving, and design-thinking approaches. My goal is not simply for you to have a good conversation - it is for you to gain clarity and, where appropriate, take practical steps toward lasting change.
I am also passionate about helping people reconnect with their values, meaning, and sense of purpose. When it is meaningful to the client, I incorporate a gentle, spiritually informed perspective.
As a mother of three grown adults, I also bring a grounded, real-world understanding of family dynamics, developmental stages, and the complexities of long-term relationships.
Let's Get Started
You are the expert in your own life. My role is to bring perspective, structure, honesty, challenge, and support as you move forward.
Reaching out for support takes courage, and I'm genuinely glad you're here.
Let's be honest about where you are, clear about where you want to go, and practical about how you get there. Get in touch to book your first session.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
