Welcome - As an LCSW, I offer support and guidance in a safe space for you to explore challenges, heal, and grow. Whether dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transitions, or improving well-being, I'm here to help. My approach is rooted in empathy, respect, and understanding. Other qualities about me that I feel are important are I’m very open-minded, use humor in my practice and I’ve sat in the patient’s seat before. I hope to help you understand you are not alone.
I began my career in 2000 as a social worker. Now, I’ve practiced as a masters prepared psychotherapist since 2008. I have experience in many different social work settings - from providing outpatient therapy; to working in local hospitals, inpatient Adult and Gero Psych units; to working within state correctional facilities. All of which has given me a unique perspective on how we all struggle with our mental health from time to time and we all need help as we hurt, grow and heal.
Your takeaway from sessions with me will be, you'll gain practical tools to manage thoughts and behaviors effectively. We'll identify and challenge negative thought patterns contributing to anxiety, depression, stress, or low mood. You'll deepen your understanding of the connections between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, empowering you to make lasting improvements.
I hope to see you soon.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
