Are you feeling down, unmotivated, and not sure why? Does the simple fact that you feel this way make it hard to find the energy to cope with what you’re feeling? That kind of uncertainty might be spreading to the people you care about, so they may not understand what you need from them. I can help you to learn the skills to understand and cope with your emotions in a safe way, and to express them clearly enough that the people around you can truly hear you and understand how to support you. Together, we can build on the strengths that you already have to help you take back control of your emotions and your relationships.
I provide a DBT-informed therapy which focuses on developing DBT skills including distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation and mindfulness. These skills can allow you to cope with intense emotions, make those emotions less intense overall, speak up for yourself in a way that gets your voice heard, and stay present in the moment.
I use principles of feminist therapy that acknowledge the impacts of systemic oppression on your capacity to realistically reach your therapy goals. I work patiently to address the situations we can change, and accept the ones we can’t.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
