Hi, I’m Matt.
Many of the people I work with are doing their best to hold everything together, work, relationships, responsibilities, but underneath it all, they feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected. You might look like you have it together on the outside, but inside it feels different.
I work with adults and teens who are navigating anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I also support clients working through deeper experiences like trauma, self-doubt, and patterns that keep showing up in their relationships or day-to-day life.
My style is warm, real, and collaborative. I’m not here to judge or label you, I’m here to understand you. In our work together, we’ll slow things down, make sense of what’s going on, and find practical ways to help you feel more grounded, confident, and in control.
In addition to my work as a therapist, I’ve spent over 15 years in education, including serving as a high school principal and assistant principal. I’ve worked closely with students, families, and staff in high-pressure environments where stress, trauma, culture, and expectations all collide. That experience gives me a deeper understanding of how real-life pressures, work, school, family, and identity, impact mental health in ways that aren’t always easy to talk about.
I draw from approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and relationship-focused work, and I tailor our work to fit you, not the other way around. I’ve also completed Gottman Level 1 training, which supports my work with couples around communication, conflict, and rebuilding connection.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, but you don’t have to figure everything out on your own. If you’re ready, I’m here to support you.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
