I received by BA in Public Relations and minored in Marketing at Western Illinois University 1985 and a MM From University of Phoenix 2013, and MSW,2018 completing DSW from Walden University. I am an Army Veteran I started out as an enlisted soldier in 1978, Non-Commissioned Officer 1984, and finished my military service Army Infantry Captain. I was an accomplished small business owner in the United States and Costa Rica. I have worked in several clinical settings including nonprofits, hospitals, Group Homes, Orphanages, and schools. I have experience in counseling couples, individuals (adults and children) facilitating groups. I have received specialized training in Prepare/Enrich, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Certified Hypnotherapist, and trauma treatments (I am EMDR trained and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.
