Tracey is great! I am so so happy that she’s who was chosen for me!

Reviewed November 2020

I have worked with Tracey for a few months now, and I can say it was one of the best decisions I made. To seek assistance in processing trauma is not easy but it is vital to put in the work. Tracey was always kind and responsive to my needs as a client. My relationship with my family and myself have greatly improved. I am grateful to have had her assistance during the pandemic. She helped me understand that this is a stressful time, and it is okay to feel the effects of it. I have struggled with my motivation for my graduate studies, and she helped me find the reason why. Anyone who gets to work with Tracey, if open will walk away better than before.

More about Tracey

  • 12 years' experience

  • LCSW

Hi, I’m Tracey.

I’m an LCSW with more than a decade of clinical experience, and 3 decades of nursing experience. I have advanced training in trauma-informed care, gerontology, and caregiver education. I work with clients ages seven and up, and I’m passionate about creating a safe, steady space for healing, growth, and restoration.

My approach is person-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-responsive. I draw from CBT, DBT-informed skills, attachment-focused work, and mind-body strategies to support clients navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, burnout, compassion fatigue, life transitions, and family or work stress. Your story, your pace, and your goals shape the work we do together.

For clients who desire it, I offer faith-integrated support—such as Scripture reflection, values-anchored grounding, and space to explore how faith and healing connect. Faith is always optional, always client-led, and never assumed. You set the tone; I simply make room for what matters to you.

Reaching out for help is a brave step. You don’t have to walk this path alone. I’ll partner with you as you rediscover your strengths, rebuild balance, and move toward hope, healing, and wholeness.

A little more about me:

I’m a mama and "Mammy" (as my grands call me), a lifelong learner, and someone who finds beauty in ordinary moments. I will forever love my mama’s cornbread dressing, and slow Saturdays spent with family. “Junkin’” is my happy place — taking something worn and giving it new life feels a lot like redemption to me. I enjoy a good clean movie when I need to unwind and quiet moments that help me stay grounded in God’s peace and purpose for me.

I try to live in a way that blends gratitude, humor, creativity, and the steady belief that God meets us right where we are. My faith shapes how I move through the world — with hope, compassion, and a belief that restoration is always possible.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

As a therapist myself, I look for two things for my own work (that I try to mimic) which is to both listen emphatically and also give the advice I need. I feel that Ms Bratton is a trustworthy and wise, generous and kind therapist who loves to listen! I can recommend her enough. I look forward to our weekly session and when she responds to my messages

I wasnt sure what to expect with online counceling but right away Tracey Bratton showed herself to be compassionate and whip smart about the counciling she provides and how my goals can be worked upon. She seems to be able to see through to deeper meanings and problems for someone like me who (imo) already feels like they have a firm grasp on alot of concepts and my own problems. Couldnt recommend her more.
