Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially when you are not quite sure where to start or how to put everything you are feeling into words. The good news is you do not have to. We can figure that part out together.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and my style is warm, down to earth, supportive, and honest. I am not the therapist who is going to sit quietly, nod, and ask about your feelings for the entire session. I believe therapy can include laughter, real conversations, tough questions, and moments where I challenge you to look at things a little differently.

My approach is warm, collaborative, conversational, and judgment-free. Therapy with me isn’t always serious. We will laugh, celebrate your wins, talk through the messy stuff, and have very real conversations. But I’ll also ask the hard questions, challenge you when needed, and help you look at patterns that may be keeping you stuck. I believe some of the most meaningful growth happens when you feel supported enough to be uncomfortable.

I’m especially passionate about working with young adults, women, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, and those within LS, kink/BDSM, polyamorous, and ENM communities. I strive to provide a culturally responsive, sex-positive, and affirming environment where you don’t have to minimize or over-explain parts of yourself to feel understood. These are populations I’m particularly passionate about, not limitations on who I serve. I welcome clients across identities, backgrounds, relationship structures, and stages of life who are looking for support through whatever life is asking them to navigate.

Whether you’re working through anxiety, trauma, grief, relationships, identity, addiction, family or career stress, major life changes, or you simply feel stuck and aren’t quite sure why, you don’t have to come into therapy already knowing the answers or even the right questions. We can figure those out together.

Ultimately, I want therapy to feel like a space where you can take your armor off for a little while. A place to be challenged without feeling judged, supported without feeling coddled, and encouraged to become a version of yourself that feels authentic to you. We’ll do the work, but there’s room for laughter, personality, and being human along the way.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
