I’m a qualified and credentialed Social Worker with 10 years of experience supporting individuals and families through a range of life challenges. My approach is warm, empathetic and non-judgemental, and I aim to create a safe space where you feel heard, understood and supported.
I particularly enjoy working with women, mothers and parents, and I have a strong passion for supporting mothers and families to build secure, connected and positive relationships with their children. I’m especially interested in attachment and the ways our relationships and experiences can shape how we understand ourselves and connect with others. I believe that parenting can be both deeply rewarding and incredibly challenging, and I approach this work with compassion and without judgement.
In counselling, I draw on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) alongside a person-centred, strengths-based and trauma-informed approach. Together, we can explore the thoughts, feelings and behaviours that may be impacting your wellbeing, develop practical strategies, and build on the strengths and resources you already have.
Throughout my career, I have supported people experiencing mental health challenges, psychosocial disability, trauma, domestic and family violence, parenting difficulties and periods of significant family stress or crisis. I understand that reaching out for support can take courage, and I work collaboratively with clients to help them feel empowered and in control of their own journey.
My goal is to provide a supportive and respectful space where you can be yourself, make sense of what you are experiencing, and work towards the changes that are meaningful to you.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
